Generally, ordinary No. 425 ordinary Portland cement is used,
The mixing ratio of cement and sand is 1:3,
If the cement grade is too high,

Cement absorbs a lot of water,
At this time, the ceramic tile is easily cracked if the moisture is excessively absorbed.
Phenomena: Many ceramic tiles are cracked, and the direction of the cracking texture is irregular.
The third situation
Ceramic tiles are hollow and cause cracking
Hollow and non-hollow parts,
The expansion coefficients of cement mortar and ceramic tiles are different,
Cause the tiles to deform and crack.
Phenomena: The distribution of cracked ceramic tiles is irregular, and the cracks are also irregular. The cracks are linear and vary in length.
Identification method:Tap a coin on the surface of the ceramic tile and listen to the sound to see if it is hollow? If the percussion sound is low and muddy, the drum is empty.
The fourth situation
Paving leaves no seams,
The tiles and the base layer scale inconsistently,
Thermal expansion and cold contraction cause ceramic tiles to crack.
Phenomena: There are popping cracks at the corners of the ceramic tiles, and the surface cracking texture is fine and the texture is relatively short.
Note: It is recommended to leave seams when paving.
The fifth situation
Insufficient soaking of wall tiles before laying
Causing tiles to crack.
After the paving is completed if the water is not soaked enough,
When cement mortar solidifies,
Cement absorbs water unevenly,
Causing tiles to crack.
Phenomena: The distribution of cracked ceramic tiles is irregular, the cracks are also irregular, and the crack shapes are irregular and vary in length.
Identification method: Cracking of ceramic tiles caused by insufficient water soaking usually occurs soon after the ceramic tiles are laid.
