On April 26, Asia's first cylindrical floating production, storage and offloading unit (FPSO) - "Haikui No. 1", built by Offshore Oil Engineering (Qingdao) Co., Ltd., was completed and delivered in Qingdao, marking the start of my country's deepwater oil and gas industry. Major breakthroughs have been made in key technologies for independent design and construction of equipment, which is of great significance to promoting the economic and efficient development of my country's deepwater oil and gas fields.
"Hai Anemone No. 1" is composed of a hull and upper functional modules, with a maximum diameter of about 90 meters, a main deck area equivalent to 13 standard basketball courts, a height of nearly 30 stories, and a total weight of It is about 37,000 tons, equivalent to the weight of 30,000 cars. It has a design displacement of 100,000 tons, a maximum oil storage capacity of 60,000 tons, a design life of 30 years, and can operate continuously at sea for 15 years without returning to dock. Compared with conventional ship structures, cylindrical FPSOs are smaller, more compact, and have higher oil storage efficiency. They also have the advantages of less steel consumption, good stability, and strong ability to withstand harsh sea conditions, which can effectively reduce the cost of oil field development. and operating costs.
"Haikui No. 1" has realized the independent application of 15 key technologies and equipment such as sea and land integrated intelligent central control system, natural gas twin-tower process desulfurization system, and large-capacity hydraulic submersible pump. It also adopts a new natural gas desulfurization device and dual-fuel generator for the first time on a domestic offshore platform, which can make full use of oil field associated gas and effectively improve the green energy-saving level of offshore oil fields.
After delivery, "Haikui No. 1" will be towed to the deep sea with a water depth of 324 meters for tie-back, and will serve together with Asia's first deepwater jacket platform "Haiji No. 2" in my country's first deepwater oil field, Liuhua 11-1 Oilfield, has innovatively formed the country's first "deepwater jacket platform + cylindrical FPSO" development model, providing a new solution for the efficient development of my country's deepwater oil and gas fields.
